Join the Northwestern Roberta Buffett Institute for Global Affairs for a livestreamed panel discussion with award-winning filmmaker Rana Kazkaz as she talks about her feature-length film, The Translator — the story of a political refugee illegally returning to Syria and risking everything to free his brother from the Assad regime as the Syrian Revolution begins.
Rana Kazkaz is also the Roberta Buffett Visiting Professor of International Studies in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences Program of Middle Eastern and North African Studies at Northwestern University.

- Zayd Dohrn: Playwright, professor, and co-director of the MFA in Writing for Screen and Stage in the Department of Radio/Television/Film at Northwestern University
