Faculty Fellows are full-time, tenure-line Northwestern faculty who are conducting research outside of the contiguous United States.

Graduate Fellows
The Roberta Buffett Institute’s graduate fellows include Research Fellows and Dissertation Fellows—interdisciplinary cohorts of doctoral candidates who receive the Institute's financial and programmatic support.Undergraduate Fellows & Scholars
Buffett Undergraduate Research Fellows serve as research assistants for international research projects led by faculty mentors. Elliott Scholars take a two-course sequence on international development over winter and spring that prepares them to engage in a summer internship abroad through the Northwestern Global Learning Office's Global Engagement Studies Institute (GESI). Global Affairs Leadership Fellows design and lead a major interdisciplinary symposium that brings together policymakers, scholars, and industry leaders to address a pressing global challenge.Post-Baccalaureate Fellows
The Buffett Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship is a one-year, paid fellowship program designed to prepare recent Northwestern graduates for impactful global careers and open doors to diverse professional paths. Post-Baccalaureate Fellows work full-time at partner organizations abroad.
