The Buffett Institute will move into the newly-renovated Jacobs Social Sciences & Global Studies building in Fall 2026. Until then, we're operating from two offices: 720 University Place and 1800 Sherman Avenue.
The Buffett Institute's main office is located at 720 University Place. This office is home to our research, global collaborations and communications teams as well as many of our Buffett Visiting Scholars.
The Buffett Institute has additional offices at 1800 Sherman Avenue. This office is home to our Business team, our Keyman Modern Turkish Studies and Equality Development & Globalization Studies programs and the Northwestern Security & AI Lab. Our satellite events space is also located here.
Northwestern is turning the Donald P. Jacobs Center into a new hub for the social sciences and global studies. The Buffett Institute will move into the newly renovated Jacobs Social Sciences & Global Studies building in Fall 2026.
