Are you eager to connect with other students from across the globe, learn lifelong skills, and make a positive impact on global challenges? If so, apply now to be a Northwestern Student Delegate to the U7+ Worldwide Student Forum 2021: Climate Change–Intergenerational Conflict or Intergenerational Alliance?
Along with the U7+ Alliance of World Universities and University College London, Northwestern University will host the second U7+ Worldwide Student Forum online between July 21 and November 2021 in order to spark discussion among students from more than 50 U7+ Alliance universities representing 20 countries.

The U7+ Worldwide Student Forum 2021 will bring student voices to the center of creating solutions in a way that takes the interests and rights of future generations into account. Through peer-to-peer discussions, optional masterclasses and academic roundtables, students will gain experience in global engagement and networking, and learn useful skills to make a positive impact, such as advocacy, resilience, policy making and persuasive writing. The outcomes of this year’s Worldwide Student Forum will inform the agenda for the 2021 U7+ Presidential Summit, and will be shared through a coordinated communications campaign in the lead up to the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in November.
The U7+ Alliance of World Universities is the first alliance of university presidents aimed at defining concrete actions universities can take to collectively address global challenges in coordination with government leaders in G7 countries and beyond. Over 50 universities from 20 countries, representing more than 2 million students, are part of the Alliance.
