Sue Taras
Sue Taras is a Business Administrator on Buffett Institute’s Business Team. In this role, she collaborates with GLO, OISS, OGSS and other Buffett managers to facilitate vendor payments, ensure expense report compliance, procure supplies, track revenue and closeout the fiscal year. She coordinates with GLO on quarterly financial reporting and forecasting to Central Administration. In addition, Sue oversees Buffett Institute sponsored research responsibilities, collaborating with Sponsored Research (SP) and Accounting Services for Research and Sponsored Programs (ASRSP). She provides financials training to individuals, as needed. Sue is an alumnus of Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and School of Education and Social Policy. She was an Associate Director of Budget and Planning at Northwestern working on the planning and allocation of resources to Office for Research, and business units such as Human Resources, University Police and Accounting Services. In her free time, Sue enjoys cooking, baking and visiting with friends.
