Study AbroadThe Global Learning Office is committed to making study abroad accessible to all students. Several resources are available to assist in planning a study abroad experience:

  • Your Journey to Study Abroad outlines steps, deadlines, and resources and provides a general timeline to help you get started.
  • Money Matters provides information regarding program costs, financial aid, scholarships and funding, billing, and budgeting for study abroad.
  • Identity Abroad offers information, resources, and student perspectives to support students of all identities, including first-generation students and students with high financial need.

Resources for global experiences are available through several partner offices, including the Office of Undergraduate Research, the Office of Fellowships, Northwestern Career Advancement, and the Office of Undergraduate Financial Aid, among others. Undergraduate students can also pursue non-credit-bearing global experiences through their college or school or through affiliated campus groups.
