Harrington Weihl
Harrington Weihl is the Director for Research at the Northwestern Roberta Buffett Institute for Global Affairs, where he oversees faculty and graduate programs and works to connect researchers with funding opportunities and other programming that might support their work. He joined Buffett from the University of Chicago Press and has managed journals in a variety of disciplines, ranging from medicine to literature to the natural sciences. Before working in publishing, Harrington earned a PhD in English at Northwestern. His dissertation charted the different ways that games and play shaped engagements with empire, form, and the market in global anglophone literature. He enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and doting on his cats.
