Andreea S. Micu

andreea-micu.jpgAndreea S. Micu (she/her/hers) is the Senior Program Coordinator for Global Collaboration in the Buffett Institute’s Research & Programs team. In this role, Andreea manages programs that support Buffett’s strategic partnerships on a global scale, including the Global Collaboration Grants, which provide Northwestern faculty seed funding to establish collaborations with international partners. Andreea has a PhD in Performance Studies from Northwestern and her scholarship and teaching have developed at the intersections of arts and culture, social movements and urban space. Previously, she was a Research Associate and a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Migration in the Mahindra Humanities Center at Harvard. She has also managed alternative career workshops for doctoral students in the humanities with the Humanities Without Walls Consortium and has been a Public Humanities Fellow at the Chicago Humanities Festival, where she researched and developed arts and culture programs that engaged diverse audiences.
