Kyounghee Lee

kyounghee_lee_170px.pngKyounghee Lee is the Immigration Compliance Specialist for the Buffett Institute’s Office of International Student and Scholar Services . In this role, she provides portal access to newly admitted students, manages current students’ SEVIS registration and approves/reports changes in the student information system, ensuring that the student databases in Terra Dotta and SEVIS are kept up-to-date. Additionally, she supports both the student advising and the operations teams through the processing of student requests and immigration documents.

She earned a PhD in Linguistics at Northwestern University. Before joining the OISS, she served as a lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at Hanyang University in Korea, where she taught linguistics and English courses. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking and playing musical instruments with her daughter.
