Jacob Schoofs
Jacob Schoofs (he/him/his) is the Senior Program & Technology Manager for Buffett’s Global Learning Office (GLO). In this role, Jacob leads advising and management of GLO's undergraduate programs in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. He also manages GLO's data reporting and technology systems. Previously, Jacob served as a study abroad coordinator at Loyola University Chicago, where he not only spearheaded the offices data reporting but also advised over 400 students annually and oversaw the management of international exchange partnerships. Jacob earned an MA/MS from the Europa Universitaet Flensburg in northern Germany and a BA from Lake Forest College. In his free time, Jacob enjoys all things German (language, food, music, film and beyond), spending time with his partner and dog, playing video games, watching any movie he can get his hands on, singing, exploring Chicago and getting to know new cultures, foods and lived experiences.
