Beth Osterlund

beth-osterlund-photo-israel.jpgBeth Osterlund is the Assistant Director for Buffett’s Office of Global Safety & Security. She supports the safety and well-being of Northwestern's international travelers. She focuses on graduate and professional student travel, pre-departure medical management planning and trip leader training. She previously served as manager of education programs at the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International headquartered in Evanston. Beth holds a MS from Northeastern University in Global Studies and International Relations, specializing in Global Student Mobility. Her educational background also includes a BA in French from Miami University, where she gained international experience through study abroad in Aix-en-Provence and Dijon, France. Outside of her academic pursuits, Beth and her husband have opened their home to serve as host parents for international exchange students.
