The Post-Graduate Fellowship Program enables recent alums to contribute to change-making international organizations through two-year paid professional field placements. The Buffett Institute’s current partner, One Acre Fund, supplies smallholder farm families in East Africa with financing and training to reduce hunger and poverty. Consultant positions combine program, systems, and financial analysis to support country leadership in determining strategy.
One Acre Fund Post-Grad Fellowship
In partnership with the Buffett Institute, and with the support of the Office of Fellowships, the One Acre Fund is offering a two-year paid fellowships in Kigali, Rwanda, open to Northwestern University graduating seniors. One Acre Fund is a growing social enterprise innovating to reduce poverty and hunger by investing in smallholder farm families to increase food production and achieve their full potential. Junior Associates (JAs) can be placed on a variety of teams within the organization, including Finance, People Operations, and Recruitment teams. As a young organization, One Acre Fund is ready to hand over significant responsibility for specific, well‐defined strategic initiatives. For this role, they hope to find eager young professionals who can add immediate value through hard work, flexibility, and a willingness to learn on the job.
