Post-Graduate Fellowship

The Post-Graduate Fellowship Program enables recent alums to contribute to change-making international organizations through paid professional field placements. The Buffett Institute’s current partner, One Acre Fund, supplies smallholder farm families in East Africa with financing and training to reduce hunger and poverty. 

One Acre Fund Post-Grad Fellowship

The One Acre Fund Northwestern Fellowship is seeking applications for our 2018 program. The Fellowship supports one Northwestern graduate to serve as a Junior Associate in Kigali, Rwanda. The fellowship requires a two-year commitment. The Fellow will join One Acre Fund as a full-time Junior Associate in one of our operational teams such as Finance, People Operations or Recruitment.

One Acre Fund is a growing social enterprise that supplies smallholder farmers with the financing and training they need to grow their way out of poverty. The organization is currently serving 450,000 rural farmers. We are looking for eager young professionals who can immediately add value to our teams through hard work, flexibility and a willingness to learn on the job. Prior experience in East Africa is not required. One Acre Fund invests in building management and leadership skills in our staff which results in fast career growth.
