Call for nominations

The Global Poverty Research Lab at the Buffett Institute for Global Studies at Northwestern University invites faculty and scholars in the field of development economics to nominate their most promising doctoral students to present their job talk at the Spring 2018 Development Rookiefest.

Doctoral students who had fly outs in 2017-2018 or are planning to go on the job market for the first time in 2018-2019 are eligible for nomination.

The Global Poverty Research Lab will cover the cost of airfare and hotel accommodations for PhD students who are selected to present their work at the conference.
