Working Group Proposals

About this grant

Buffett Institute working groups establish and maintain communities of Northwestern scholars engaged in sustained scholarly activities around shared research interests. Groups must be interdisciplinary.

Possible activities include internal and external speaker series; workshops; working papers; publications; edited book conferences; professional development of graduate students; generation of research projects; external fund applications; and further proposals for "big ideas."

Award details

Up to $8,000 per year for up to three years, renewable

Eligibility

Open to full-time, tenure-line Northwestern faculty

Application requirements: All proposals must be submitted through the Buffett Institute FluidReview Application. Whole or partial applications submitted via personal email or other methods will not be accepted.
