Miranda Goosby

Miranda Goosby (she/her) is a Program Manager at the Buffett Institute's Global Learning Office (GLO) and serves as an advisor for the undergraduates interested in the Danish Institute for Study Abroad and GLO's Global Engagement Studies Institute (GESI). She is also a writer and creative, producing work through an intersectional feminist lens. Through visual and written documentation, she has centered the voices of people of color, specifically Black and Brown marginalized folks, through her work on issues ranging from reproductive justice to children’s rights and community and global development to educational equity. She has also contributed to the work of nonprofit and social justice organizations—including BYP 100, Sixty Inches From Center, Illinois Humanities and United Working Families—through strategy development, facilitation, training, content creation, program coordination, community engagement, journalism and research. Miranda earned her bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College, where she focused on on International Relations and Women & Gender Studies. In her personal time, Miranda loves to travel, listen to podcasts and cook for her loved ones.
